BLAST has announced that its second Open tournament in 2027 will be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

The Mongolian capital is set to host a tier-one event for the first time.
BLAST has announced that its second Open tournament in 2027 will be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
It will take place on May 10-23 and feature a $1.25 million prize pool. Of the 16 attending teams, 11 will be invited directly from Valve Regional Standings and five will come from qualifiers in Asia, Europe, North America and South America.
The event will mark BLAST's first tier-one venture into Mongolia, where it previously co-hosted a qualifying event for BLAST Open London in 2025.
According to a statement, the move "reflects a wider direction for BLAST Premier in 2027: taking major events beyond familiar destinations," after BLAST previously announced Rio de Janeiro, Singapore, Hong Kong and Malta as its destinations for the upcoming year so far.
BLAST's 2027 circuit now looks as follows:
- BLAST Bounty Season 1 (January 11-24)
- BLAST Open Singapore (March 15-28)
- BLAST Open Ulaanbaatar (May 10-23)
- BLAST Bounty Season 2 (August 30-September 12)
- BLAST Open Rio (October 4-17)
- BLAST Rivals (November 8-14)
