Boombl4 spoke about BetBoom Team's problems due to substitutions

BetBoom Team player Kirill Boombl4 Mikhailov appreciated the team’s performance at the XSE Pro League 2026 in CS2. In an interview with .org, he noted the problems with preparing for matches in another region, as well as the impact of the pause between performances on overall preparation.

Boombl4 also commented on the departure of Timur FL4MUS Maryev, who played with the team on loan, and changes in the lineup. He noted that due to constant substitutions, it has become very difficult to accurately assess the team’s form.

I can say that the changes were unplanned. Unfortunately, it happened that we couldn’t play with the roster, and almost until the very end we didn’t understand what lineup we would play with. I would say that our team was in good shape at this tournament, we showed good results in scrimmages. The structure was built, the maps were studied - all this gave good results in scrims. Of course, these are just scrims, but I felt that the team had reached its form. It was also influenced by the fact that we have been playing with different stand-ins all season. There was no d1Ledez or s1ren here. And, to be honest, it’s difficult to assess the capabilities and progress of this roster, because one month you play with one roster, the next with another, and then you come to the tournament with a third. We can say that we finally came to this tournament in full force. But, again, we came to the tournament after a month of playing with FL4MUS. We spent a lot of physical and moral energy, we ourselves did not expect such results, and it took its toll. Moreover, there was little time to prepare. So I hope that next season we will be able to perform more as a main team, and then we will see what results we will achieve and what will happen next.

BetBoom Team was eliminated from the XSE Pro League 2026, losing to FaZe Clan in the first round of the playoffs with a score of 0:2 (2:13 on Cache and 6:13 on Ancient). The Russian team took 5th-8th place and earned $50 thousand.
