Chopper explained why there are no hostage cards in the pro scene

Former Team Spirit captain Leonid chopper Vishnyakov named the reason why maps with hostages are not played on the professional CS2 scene. In his opinion, such locations are not suitable for e-sportsmen.

Regarding the hostage cards. I don't think this is a competitive story. That’s not the point of Counter‑Strike, that’s why they don’t play it.
