FACEIT representatives announced an update to their own anti-cheat for CS2. A new module called Human Input Detection, powered by machine learning, will be introduced into the system. The information appeared on the platform’s website and social networks.

The Human Input Detection system will identify cheaters by their actions in the game, and not by the software used. The authors declare its constant improvement through analysis of matches on FACEIT and the play of the best CS players.

The new system is primarily focused on combating AI cheats and is capable of identifying even those that it has never encountered before. It is reported that its implementation will not affect FPS and game performance, and will not require any additional actions from gamers.

The updated anti-cheat will be in effect from the start of the ninth competitive season of FACEIT, scheduled for August 5. From this moment on, a stricter ban policy will also begin to apply on the platform, more details about which can be read in the material.
