Earlier in the day, Bryan "Maka" Canda and company eliminated Gentle Mates , while K27 made light work of Phantom . That meant the two teams contested the lower-bracket final, where Aleksey "xeedo" Mikulich put K27 on his back and led the way with a 2.00 rating in a one-sided series.
In the upper bracket, it was HEROIC who got the better of Ninjas in Pyjamas to qualify for the grand final. Christoffer "Chr1zN" Storgaard 's troops secured a close 13-11 victory on their Inferno pick despite Roman "n0te" Hamze 's best efforts (1.26 rating), with Martin "stavn" Lund and the young Belgian then leading the way in a 13-9 victory on Nuke.
That meant that the match needed to be decided on Mirage, where HEROIC 's strong CT side proved enough for a victory and a grand final spot.
