If I'm not mistaken, out of twelve pairs, about seven favorites lost their matches - the same Vitality and others. The main reason is the long break after the major, and this is absolutely normal. If you remember the BLAST tournaments after the winter break, Vitality always lose there. Usually the winners are not outsiders or favorites in the usual sense, but teams like G2 or PARIVISION, which also took the first tournament of the season. The European qualification for BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 was held online from July 21 to 26. 32 teams competed for eight slots at the LAN tournament.
