PR injured himself with the championship cup at BLAST Bounty Summer 2026: “We need to practice lifting trophies...”

18-year-old professional CS2 player Aldrich PR Novi received several scratches on his face and neck while celebrating his victory at BLAST Bounty Summer 2026. He received his injuries due to unsuccessful handling of the cup; the episode was included in the official broadcast of the tournament.

PR brought down the trophy with many sharp edges too quickly, causing abrasions on the neck and near the eye. He later commented on the incident in X: “The first tournament with the team, the first victory in the tournament - it feels great. Thank you for supporting us. I also need to practice lifting trophies... 🙄” Novi published a photo with scratches on social networks.

MOUZ became the champion of BLAST Bounty Summer 2026, defeating Team Spirit in the final with a score of 3:1. For PR, this is the first championship in a major tournament in his career.
