In the comments on reddit they said that the teams abandoned the fights because of the server on which the matches were supposed to take place. It is located in South Africa, so the local team, having assembled a nominally stronger roster, had a decisive advantage - the opponent would have to play with a ping of more than 150.

Esports Nations Cup 2026 for CS2 will be held from November 10 to 15 in Saudi Arabia. Teams from 24 countries will compete for $1.3 million in prize money.
