Semi-final matchups set for BLAST Bounty

FaZe are set for a tough matchup against Spirit after Astralis opted to play MOUZ.

The draft show for the semi-finals of BLAST Bounty Season 2 has come to a close, and with its conclusion we now know the final bracket that will take place between the final four teams in contention.

Astralis were the only team who had a choice to make during the draft show, as they were the higher seed between them and FaZe , with Spirit or MOUZ set in front of them as potential semi-final opponents.

Astralis predictably chose to play against MOUZ , but Filip "⁠NEO⁠" Kubski revealed that there were some differing opinions on who the team should choose as their opponent, specifically from Rasmus "⁠HooXi⁠" Nielsen .

"He feels confident against Spirit," NEO said of his team's IGL. "Also there is a huge bounty and VRS, right? The problem is they have an early game and it's pretty late now, so that complicates things."

Spirit were firm favorites to claim the event trophy ahead of the LAN finals, being by far the highest-ranked team in contention, and considering the hard fights the other semi-final teams had to go through to make it to the top-four, that fact will not have changed.
