Starix told a story about NAVI when the team was locked up in a deportation center

Former Natus Vincere CS coach Sergei starix Ishchuk recalled the situation when he and his team ended up in the deportation center of Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to Ishchuk, the team members did not know that they needed permission to enter the country.

I still remember this story with a smile. We flew to a tournament in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the support of SteelSeries. We arrive, go through passport control, and suddenly they tell us: “You must have a visa.” And we were sure. that it is not required. As a result, the entire team ended up in a deportation center. We spent about 8 hours there while the organizers resolved the issue with documents. All this time, the tournament simply did not start - spectators, rivals and organizers were waiting for us to get into the country. As a result, in the evening we received all the documents, we immediately arrived at the arena, played our matches... and won the entire tournament. The funny thing is that we were never paid the prize money. It turned out to be the most surreal story: you fly to the tournament, first you find yourself in a deportation center, then you become a champion, and in the end you are left without any prize money

The ex-mentor did not reveal the name of the tournament, but it was probably about Adepto BH Open 2011 - this is the only event in Bosnia and Herzegovina where NAVI took first place. The starix team did not lose a single map in the competition. In the finals, NAVI defeated Fnatic and earned €6 thousand.
