Valve asked fans how they would feel about duels in a tie in Premier mode

The CS2 developers have published a post in which they speculated on what extra time in Premier mode might look like. They believe that if the score is 15:15, they could add a special arena in which duels would be held.

What are your thoughts? In the event of a 15:15 draw in the Premier, teams go to a shootout. In a shootout: - Players face off in 1v1 arenas based on their position in the frag table. This means that the top fragger fights against the top fragger, the second against the second, the bottom against the bottom, and so on. - The shootout order is randomized, so your top fragger can only take his shootout in the 5th or penultimate round. - Players on each team watch their teammates during these 1v1 arenas. — The first team to win 3 out of 5 shootouts wins the match.

The developers made this proposal in response to criticism from streamer aqua. He didn't like the fact that a match in Premier mode could end in a draw. He suggested that the game designer find a new calling in life.
