Professional CS2 player Marek YEKINDAR Galinskis spoke about practice on FACEIT. On the stream of Leonid chopper Vishnyakov, the FURIA Esports rider assessed the technical features of the platform’s servers, and also explained why he prefers training with a team and working with educational materials to matchmaking.

[Question: “Is there anything that sounds different on the Internet?”] Yes, of course. Firstly, the practice server is very different from FACEIT. Secondly, servers and shooting on LAN are completely different. Not to say that they are directly very different, but you can feel it. I actually rarely play FACEIT. I stopped playing it in September. I'll explain why. You're starting to feel like you're getting tired of CS. I’m already sitting here, playing six practice sessions a day, and four or five hours of theory. And when you constantly think about CS, in addition to the fact that you are playing FACEIT, it becomes very exhausting. I'm not at the age to play FACEIT additionally. I came to the conclusion that I would rather be confident in some of my actions theoretically, I would watch and learn more, watch the games of other teams, rather than go and play FACEIT, where most situations are unrealistic. Well, in any case, of course, it’s a shame when you go to FACEIT and are simply blown away. And he does it in such a way that he makes a move that is completely against the odds, which most often you will never see in games. Living the game does not mean sitting 24/7 and nerding out FACEIT. For me, most of the things that affect my game don't depend on whether I play FACEIT or not.

Chopper previously expressed a similar idea. He noted that there are better ways for professional players to stay in shape.
