Ace named five underrated characters for the offlane in patch 7.41d

Professional Dota 2 player Markus Ace Hoelgaard has compiled a list of five unpopular position 3 characters that he believes are relevant to pick in patch 7.41d. The Team Liquid offlaner shared his opinion in a video on YouTube.

Ace believes that most players choose the same offlaners, and the characters he suggests can put opponents in an awkward position. At the same time, all the heroes indicated by the Dane have a high win rate, but low popularity among gamers.

The first hero Hoelgard mentioned was Undying. The player noted the character for the ability to dominate the lane due to Decay spam. He also recommended buying an early Blink Dagger on Undying.

Next, Ace singled out Death Prophet. He noticed that the developers strengthened the character in three patches in a row. In his opinion, Death Prophet’s less than stellar statistics are not due to its strength, but to the fact that many have not yet mastered the new build.

The top from Ace also included Night Stalker and Kunkka. The Dane included the first one in the rating for the ability to effectively farm during the day, which was previously the character’s weakness. Helgard singled out the second for his strength at the laning stage and versatility in choosing items.

Ace called Visage the most underrated offlaner of the patch. In his opinion, the hero is unpopular only because of the difficult gameplay, but is strong after the changes in patch 7.41.
