We stumbled one day and it cost us the final. But to be honest, I’m very proud of how we did everything in this tournament. I think we played well against a lot of good teams, including 1w, including Team Spirit. We played very well in our group, which was not easy, in my humble opinion. Yes, we really made a big mistake against PV in the draft, but they, having an advantage of 80 to 20, played three maps - not even two, which shows that even in the most difficult situations the team can get out and show character. So I'm completely proud of the team. Obviously, I’m upset that this happened, but it would be much more offensive to lose, having a 50/50 draft, and simply give in to personal mistakes, than to lose, where your whole problem was, let’s say, complete dissynchronization in drafts. And, in principle, we found this out as an error; we will work on this error on Int. More precisely, already now, one might say.
Esports World Cup 2026 for Dota 2 took place from July 7 to July 19. The teams competed for a prize fund of $2 million. In the match for third place, Team Yandex defeated Vici Gaming.
