Miposhka about the first tournament as a coach in Team Spirit: “The dynamics, it seems to me, are still positive”

Team Spirit Dota 2 coach Yaroslav Miposhka Naydenov assessed the progress of the team under his leadership. In a vlog following the results of the Esports World Cup 2026, he noted that there are positive dynamics, despite the not very good final result.

The dynamics, it seems to me, are still positive. We all tried to work on our game. I also tried to pay as much attention as possible to replays, drafts, and touch on all possible aspects of the game as much as possible. I also help the support guys, I try to say something to each player, point out some important points. All the guys listen, everyone tries, and generally agree with what I say. Together we come to an understanding of how best to act and play in some moments. And I think that, perhaps, all this is not immediately and quickly remembered. But if you continue to hammer some important information and understanding into your head, over time some kind of awareness and insight will come. And you’re like: “Yes, now we’re doing it this way, and we’ll do it this way, and everything will be clear.”

Esports World Cup 2026 for Dota 2 runs from July 7 to July 19. The teams are fighting for a prize fund of $2 million. Team Spirit finished the tournament in 5th-8th place; the roster lost to Team Yandex in the quarterfinals. The schedule and results of the competition can be tracked in the report.
