Peruvian eSports player and streamer Most 'Matthew' Farita Jeafeje Huamancaha, during a personal broadcast, shared the details known to him about how ESIC representatives interrogated PlayTime players at the Esports World Cup 2026.

According to information from Matthew, PlayTime participants were interrogated by ESIC representatives, separating them into different rooms. In addition, smartphones were taken away from esports athletes for 10 hours to prevent them from colluding with each other. To date, neither ESIC nor PlayTime representatives have officially shared such details of the investigation.
