On the night of July 31, a major update was released in Dota 2. Among other things, Valve has recalibrated the MMR for the leaders of the global ranking table.
Changes to the Dota 2 rating system:
- The ratings of players with the Titan rank have been adjusted. Now the rating of all players is in the range from 1 to 9500.
- The minimum rating to participate in Immortal Draft remains 8500.
- The relative distribution of players and their positions on the leaderboard remain the same.
- Random Draft and classic ranked matchmaking have been removed from the list of ranked modes.
- A new option has been added to the Ranked Play tab: “Automatically select all roles if there are no role search tokens”; by default it is disabled.
- Now, when you first gain access to a ranked game, 5 Role Search tokens are given.
For example, PARIVISION carry Alan 'Satanic' Gallyamov, who is currently ranked 3rd on the European ladder, showed that his MMR dropped to 9,462. Exactly a week ago, he became the first player to surpass the 18,000 rating point mark.
