The Dota 2 developers have fixed a bug that made it easier to complete the “Attack of Automata” mini-game as part of the “Dark Carnival” event using a pause.
As part of the third chapter of the Dark Carnival event, Dota 2 introduced the Automaton Attack mini-game, in which players need to type words that appear on the screen to defeat opponents and score points. Users found a vulnerability that allowed them to pause the game and at that moment print the displayed text, thanks to which they could get a large number of points in one go.
On the night of July 24, Valve released an update for Dota 2, in which the third chapter of the in-game event “Dark Carnival” was added to the game.
