Virtus.pro has withdrawn from Games of the Future 2026 and will be replaced by Yellow Submarine

Virtus.pro will not take part in the upcoming Games of the Future 2026 for Dota 2. Information appeared on the official website of the tournament organizer.

Instead of Virtus.pro, Yellow Submarine will perform at Games of the Future 2026. At the moment, the reasons why the team refused to participate in the tournament are unknown. The club itself has not made any official statements.

Virtus.pro was defeated by Rune Eaters Esports in the first round of the survival stage of the Esports World Cup 2026 with a score of 1-2 and left the tournament in 13-16th place.

Games of the Future 2026 will be held from July 31 to August 5 in LAN format in Astana, Kazakhstan. Sixteen teams will compete for a prize pool of $1,000,000.
