Professional Dota 2 player Alimzhan Watson Islambekov spoke about play patterns in the carry position. During a broadcast on Twitch, a member of Team Yandex explained which area is most effective for recruiting networking.

I can advise that if you play as a carry, then try to stay on the lane for as long as possible. Never fly to the top three, never go to stand in the offlane. Try to pump the line, even if the tower is broken. Swing on the line and in the forest nearby, because there are most camps there. If you go to the “troika”, there are two camps and a line. For example, you are Radiant: you farm the “three”, push the lane, farm two camps, a large and a small one, and return to the “three”. This is very little farm. If you stand behind Radiant in a bot, download a pack, there are four camps below, there are seven or six more camps in the forest - you walk around, just vacuum.
