It was a difficult match, I would say. A good series against strong opponents. If we had won them, we would have won the tournament. But that's life.
The first game was pretty easy. In the middle of the match we played well: we took Roshan and demolished two tier-2 towers. After that, they began to move a little better, a little faster, which allowed them to kill us at the top and take the side.
The game has become more difficult. Ember Spirit just ran around and killed everyone. We should have fought better, but we didn't, and that's why we lost.
The problem was that we didn't take advantage of good chances to catch them on wards. We somehow miscalculated when we didn't catch Invoker twice when we could have done it. They simply split us across the map, so we were unable to push a single tier-1 tower with Aegis.
They simply scattered all over the map, and I had to be everywhere: either pushing lines or attacking heroes. But they still continued to destroy us with the help of Invoker and Centaur Warrunner.
It was a difficult macro game. They had a better pick in terms of movement on the map, and we had little control.
Earlier, Alexander 'Nix' Levin commented on Team Spirit's departure from the Esports World Cup 2026, explaining what, in his opinion, problems the team faced.
