Gizmy's team faltered in Group D's elimination match the day after upsetting Falcons in BLAST Bounty.

100 Thieves are out of the running for a spot at StarLadder StarSeries Fall after a 1-2 loss to Nuclear TigeRES in Group D of the Europe qualifier.

Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen 's side let three map points slip on Nuclear TigeRES ' pick of Ancient — from 12-10 and 15-14 up — to lose the map in double overtime, and despite a 1.66-rated map from Håvard "rain" Nygaard helping even the score on Mirage, 100 Thieves fell apart on the Inferno decider to an equally strong showing by Ilya "flouzer" Selifonov .

100 Thieves were knocked down to the elimination game after losing to Ninjas in Pyjamas in their qualifier opener on Wednesday, but bounced back with aplomb mere hours later by scoring a huge upset win over IEM Cologne Major champions Falcons in BLAST Bounty Season 2.

Momentum from that win didn't carry over today, and the loss comes as a blow to 100 Thieves ' climb up the VRS. The team is also out of the running for StarSeries Fall, where they would have faced the likes of Vitality , FURIA , and Natus Vincere on LAN for a $500,000 prize pool.
