User slqntdev stated that he was able to run the tutorial from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in the browser. According to the enthusiast, he was able to do this thanks to a Source engine code leak that occurred in 2018. The developer published a gameplay video on his personal page in X.
According to slqntdev, he is now working on launching a full-fledged match against bots. At the time of publication, Valve did not require the developer to close the project. In June, the enthusiast also ported Half-Life 2.
