FaZe clinch first Bounty Finals spot over DENDELE

Twistzz and company will head to Malta next week.

JBOEN went 19-1 to lead FaZe to a straightforward opening map win FaZe have secured the first spot in the LAN finals of BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 following a 2-1 win over DENDELE in the Round of 16.

The finals will take place next week, from July 30-August 2, in BLAST's Malta studio, and feature seven other teams that will be determined over the course of this weekend.

Jakub "⁠jcobbb⁠" Pietruszewski topped the board for his team, averaging a 1.40 rating over the three-map series.

The Pole came up clutch in the first half of the deciding Cache with a crucial 1v3 that prevented the Brazilian side from seizing momentum, along with a rare David "⁠frozen⁠" Čerňanský AWP clip in the preceding round.

DENDELE , previously known as Sharks before its rebrand earlier this month, had entered the match fresh off an upset win over FURIA on the night before.

Whether it was down to the lack of time to prepare for the next match, which was to be played less than 12 hours later, or not, the Brazilians looked down and out at first.

FaZe dominated them on Nuke with Jason "⁠JBOEN⁠" Boe Nielsen ending the map on a 19-1 scoreline, and Mirage was heading in a similar direction from the get-go, as FaZe went on an early six-round streak.

But DENDELE did not go out without a fight, after all, recovering Mirage thanks to two forcebuy wins and contesting FaZe 's Cache in the first half with well-put-together A splits that caught them off-guard.

It was only a lack of cohesion in the aforementioned two rounds where frozen and jcobbb came up with big plays for their team that cost them, along with a 5v3 loss in the second half that kept control firmly in FaZe 's hands.
