MOUZ lock in Bounty Finals berth over FOKUS

In an online group stage chock-full of upsets, MOUZ have become the first top-10 team on the VRS to secure a spot at the BLAST Bounty Season 2 Finals, doing so by way of a 2-0 victory over FOKUS .

Minor details separated the teams on Dust2, and MOUZ 's collective experience made all the difference in eking out a 13-10 win. FOKUS had early control wrested from their grasp after giving up a round to two saved weapons and a well-executed pounce into Middle by MOUZ 's defense, which led to a 6-3 lead off a three-round spree.

FOKUS found some room in Middle to nab two rounds back, but MOUZ wasted little time in pushing up to double digits with a pistol win after the swap before eventually putting a comeback effort to bed, 13-10.

A Dualies ace from Matias "⁠Banjo⁠" Kivistö offered FOKUS little solace on Mirage, where they 3-1 lead evaporated against a masterful T side by Dorian "⁠xertioN⁠" Berman . Opening duels were largely one-sided in favor of MOUZ , and FOKUS only made the scoreline look close thanks to winning both pistols and conversions.

Any chance to gain momentum off the second was shut down by two superb rounds by torzsi , one that featured a lightning-quick flick that turned what looked to be a lost round on its head, and another just two rounds later with a Five-SeveN that turned a low-buy and gave MOUZ all the momentum they needed to close the series.
