Official: FACEIT will return a common military chat between teams during a change of sides

Participants of different teams in CS2 matches on FACEIT will have the opportunity to communicate with each other in voice chat. Representatives of the platform announced the introduction of such functionality on social networks.

General voice chat will appear on FACEIT on August 5 with the start of the ninth competitive season. It will turn on after the first half of the match and turn off after changing sides. The feature will be released in test mode and will be available until August 12.

The decision to introduce a common military unit during the change of sides was made based on the results of a user vote. 79% of the 106,647 gamers surveyed were in favor.
