The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) has announced the temporary suspension of PlayTime's Dota 2 roster mid laner Gonzalo DarkMago Herrera and Juan David Vintage coach Angulo Nicho from matches, including the 2026 Esports World Cup. Its representatives reported this on the official website.

The players are suspected of violating the ESIC Anti-Corruption Code and the Player Code of Conduct. Until the end of the proceedings, when the final verdict is rendered, DarkMago is prohibited from playing in championships under the auspices of ESIC, and Vintage is prohibited from participating in any team processes. According to representatives of the commission, the measures are preventive in nature, that is, the guilt of the Peruvians has not yet been proven.

PlayTime finished fourth in Group B at EWC 2026 and were scheduled to play in a play-off match against Vici Gaming on July 14. Shortly before the start, the match was postponed due to suspicions of possible match-fixing. The teams will play on July 15 at 14:00 Moscow time. It is unknown who will replace DarkMago at the time of publication.
