Valve has removed the opportunity to become a team coach from Dota 2

In Dota 2, you can no longer become a team coach or send a request to find a mentor. The corresponding information appeared in the game client.

The developers have removed all interface elements related to the trainer mode. Now players will not be able to join a match as a coach or use the mentor search system. Previously, this mechanic allowed experienced users to help new players and give advice as they progressed through the game.

On July 31, the developers released an update for Dota 2, with which they released a compendium for The International 2026 and patch 7.41e. The maximum possible MMR of players at the Titan ranks is now 9.5 thousand. Valve has also completely removed the classic ranked mode and ranked matchmaking in Random Draft.
