Donk said that Spirit has problems, but the team is solving them

Team Spirit CS2 member Danil donk Kryshkovets assessed the team’s playing form at the Esports World Cup 2026. Kryshkovets shared his thoughts in an interview with the .org portal.

[Question: "What can you say about Spirit's overall performance at this tournament?"] I don't want to talk about the problems we're facing right now because it might give our opponents an advantage. I just don't want to do this. But we are aware of our problems and are doing everything we can to fix them. There are things that cannot be fixed in one or two days. We need a little time, and I think we will fix everything before the start of the playoffs.

Kryshkovets' team fell into the lower bracket of Group A, after a defeat from JiJieHao, after which Team Spirit dealt with Luminosity Gaming, and then with BIG in a duel for reaching the playoffs of the Esports World Cup 2026 in Counter-Strike 2. The confrontation ended with a score of 2:1 - 9:13 on Cache, 13:10 on Dust2 and 13:7 on Mirage.

EWC 2026 for CS2 takes place from 12 to 23 August. The teams are fighting for a prize fund of $2 million. The schedule and results of the event can be tracked in the report.
