EVC for KS2 schedule and results, EWC, Esports World Cup

The Esports World Cup 2026 for CS2 will take place from August 12 to 23. 32 teams will compete for a prize fund of $2 million. The tournament will take place as part of the festival of the same name.

The championship will begin with open qualifiers: 64 teams will be divided into 16 groups and will play matches in the GSL format. The two best teams from each group will advance to the qualifying playoffs; they will compete for four slots at the main stage in the single-elimination bracket. The prize fund for the qualifiers is $100 thousand.

The group stage will be held according to the GSL system. At the start of the event, participants will be divided into four groups of eight teams. The starting matches will be held in the best-of-1 format, and the remaining matches will be played in the best-of-3 format. Four clubs from each group will qualify for the playoffs.

The decisive stage will be held in the single-elimination format. For those who lose in the semi-finals, a meeting for third place is provided. In the final series, the teams will determine the champion in a best-of-three match.
