G2's run of playoff apperances crashed to a halt against PARIVISION in Poland.

G2 have made six notable event playoffs in 2026 but they never looked close to making it a seventh in Katowice.

Defeats to PARIVISION , 1win , and Natus Vincere mean Nikita "HeavyGod" Martynenko and company are being sent home early with any momentum from the Artem "r1nkle" Moroz honeymoon evaporated.

"We wanted to be in playoffs, we wanted to play in Spodek," HeavyGod told . "But we didn't perform and then it means we don't deserve it. And it's simple as it is in CS, if you don't play good, if your team plays bad, then you don't win."

Listen to the interview here .

Unfortunately, missing the playoffs, what's your reaction?

Well, it sucks to lose, obviously. I didn't perform, we didn't perform as a team, so it's hard to say right now. Obviously emotions are here and, yeah, it's not easy. We played bad.

And on Inferno, it was so good for you guys for so long, and we saw that T side. We saw why you're so good on the map. What do you think held you back? Was it just the first half?

I don't know. We keep believing in every second of a round, and we know what we are capable of on this map. We know how good we can be and, yeah, we just believed in it. Doesn't matter because on CT we had some unlucky rounds and also some rounds that we played bad situation, clutches and everything, so yeah.

And on the team generally, you've made so many playoffs in a row. How crushing is it to miss out here?

Obviously it always sucks to lose and not go playoffs. I think as a team it's tough. It's not easy. We wanted to be in playoffs, we wanted to play in Spodek. But we didn't perform and then it means we don't deserve it. And it's simple as it is in CS, if you don't play good, if your team plays bad, then you don't win.

Are there positives to take in terms of a few more days at home, a few more days of practice? Because we know r1nkle joining mid-season, obviously that makes it hard to integrate him completely.

It's tough to say. Obviously practices are good, but we also want to compete at the highest level and in playoffs. We need to go back, we need to check, we need to see what went wrong, why did we play so bad, and why our level was so low this event.

And how long do you think it'll take before r1nkle is fully on board in terms of understanding all of the way huNter- wants to play and everything like that?

Oh, actually, if I knew the answer to this question I would say, but it's a really tough one. I think there's a lot of things in the system, in the play style, that it takes time in general. Obviously I don't have a set date or something like that, but we need to do it so that it happens as fast as possible.
