magic sign lattykk to replace mo0N

The team has changed its sniper ahead of a final push to qualify for PGL Major Singapore.

magic have announced the signing of former 1win and Aurora sniper Vladislav "lattykk" Vydrin as a replacement for Abdurakhim "mo0N" Issa , who has been moved to the transfer-list.

lattykk has been without an organization since 1win released its previous roster in August. The team continued to play together under Color after being released from the organization, and notably won CCT Europe Series 8 over Sashi in September (with lattykk averaging a team-high 1.27 rating over eight maps).

The 21-year-old replaces mo0N on the active roster, marking an end to the Kazakhstani sniper's seven-month tenure in the lineup. During that time, magic enjoyed a meteoric rise up the VRS after placing fourth at PGL Astana and HLC Belgrade PRO, second at Stake Ranked Episode 2, and securing invites to a handful of notable LANs, including Esports World Cup and StarSeries Fall.

A last-place exit at StarSeries Fall and narrowly missing playoffs at FISSURE Playground 3 have seen the team's ranking take a hit in recent months, and a third-place finish at 1win Private Club Season 1 has left magic sitting outside the cut-off for an invite to PGL Major Singapore.

They still remain in the fight for a spot with upcoming appearances at 1win Private Club Season 2 and Stake Ranked Episode 5, with lattykk 's debut coming at the former, scheduled for October 19-22.
