PARIVISION eliminate G2 from EPL S24

PARIVISION eliminated G2 from ESL Pro League S24 in a three map series (Ancient 13-7, Anubis 9-13, Inferno 13-11).

The win keeps Dzhami "⁠Jame⁠" Ali and company alive for the final day of the Swiss group stage, while G2 suffer a dissapointing early elimination with a 1-3 record.

The international squad's only victory came against minnows ShindeN , with newest addition Artem "⁠r1nkle⁠" Moroz finishing the tournament as the team's lowest performer at 0.91.

PARIVISION took advantage of a rough G2 performance on the opening map of Ancient, punishing their opponent's disconnected gameplay and poor efforts in man advantage scenarios to start the series with a 1-0 lead.

Anubis also began in rough fashion for G2 , PARIVISION putting together a solid six-round CT side off the back of their classic gamble stacks. Fortunately for G2 Guy "⁠NertZ⁠" Iluz and Matúš "⁠MATYS⁠" Šimko activated in a big way in the second half, and PARIVISION 's awkward buying strategy left their economy struggling, ensuring a dominant G2 defensive effort that sent the series to a decider.

G2 's issues from Ancient came back to haunt them again on the CT side of Inferno. Early in the half they saw two players die to utility as a result of a comedy of errors, they were getting rings called around them in the mid round, and lost several advantageous situations as a result of individuals overplaying, granting PARIVISION a 9-3 halftime lead.

On their offense G2 set about the comeback, looking far more comfortable as they picked up a pistol win and ran with the momentum, Nemanja "⁠huNter-⁠" Kovač calling a good game and often avoiding the stacked bombsites.

G2 managed to grab a one round lead before PARIVISION stabilized, Jame 's AWP finding key frags to get his team on the board on their defense and all the way up to series point. G2 tried to avoid Jame 's AWP by hitting the B site in the final two rounds, but PARIVISION did just enough to cling on to a 13-11 victory.
