Sashi Esport Adds New Zealand Player Chelleos to Its CS2 Roster
Sashi Esport has signed New Zealand player Michael “chelleos” Hawkins, replacing Denmark’s Frederik “acoR” Guldstrand amid a planned regional move.

Sashi Esport has announced another change to its CS2 lineup, signing New Zealand player Michael “chelleos” Hawkins. The organization confirmed the move through its social media channels. Hawkins joins the active roster as the replacement for Danish player Frederik “acoR” Guldstrand.
The signing makes Hawkins the third straight player from the Asian region added by Sashi Esport. The team also includes Vietnam’s Anton “Anlelele” Huynh, who previously competed under the Danish flag before restoring his original sporting nationality and again representing Asia.
Sashi Esport had earlier recruited Australians Tinan “TjP” Poertell and Jordan “Hatz” Bajic. After Anlelele changed nationality, the roster planned to enter the Asian region and improve its chances of qualifying for PGL Major Singapore 2026. On October 6, however, Valve changed the rules: a team must compete in a region for at least three months to be affiliated with it. BCGame had previously changed regions through Asian signings, and the new requirement did not affect that move.
ColdMath take
Sashi Esport’s revised lineup is built around a regional transfer, but the three-month rule may delay its eligibility for Asian competition and affect its route toward PGL Major Singapore 2026.
