The 14th season of BETBOOM Streamers Battle has been announced - the prize fund will be ₽4 million

The organizers of BETBOOM Streamers Battle for Dota 2 announced the 14th tournament of the series. The championship with a prize fund of ₽4 million will be held from July 27 to August 2. The official announcement was published in a press release.

Eight teams will take part in the competition. The group stage will be held in a round-robin format, and based on its results, the six best teams will qualify for the playoffs. The rules of the decisive stage are double-elimination.

The new tournament will retain the key mechanics of the previous event. All matches will take place in the Captains Draft + Fearless Draft format: teams will not be able to resort to heroes that they have already used during the series. In addition, the pool of characters available for selection has been expanded from 28 to 36 heroes.

The BSB rating system will continue to operate within the championship, but the performance of the participants will be revised taking into account the results of the previous tournament. It is noted that, if necessary, the organizers of the competition or team captains can initiate a review of the rating of an individual player. The point limit for each team is set at 315 units. The creators of the event also removed the restrictions for mid laners - now participants with ratings above 70 can take the center lane.

Previously, Alexey Solo Berezin's team won BetBoom Streamers Battle 13. In the finals, his team turned out to be stronger than the roster of Dmitry Recrent Osintsev. The confrontation ended with a score of 3:2.
