Carry Team Liquid Mike 'miCKe' Wu spoke about his performances at The International series tournaments. The player shared his memories at the official broadcast of The International 2026.

[ The International 2019 as part of Alliance was your first TI. What was it like? ] Back then with Alliance it was a little different because we had virtually no expectations. We just arrived there and were happy about the very fact of participating. And then an unpleasant situation happened when someone accidentally drafted Gyrocopter. I don't even know who exactly it was. I won't name names. If you know, then you know. But yeah, I think that's why that tournament was most memorable to me.

I remember that then we had the most difficult period. We played with a new lineup - zai and MATUMBAMAN came to us. Things didn't go so smoothly in the beginning and we had to fight our way through last chance qualifying to get into the playoffs.

I would say it was one of the hardest paths of my career, but also the most memorable. I remember a game from there where I literally survived on just one HP. I will never forget that match.

I don't really remember how that season went for us. I remember The International, but... I don’t remember much, only that we lost to Gaimin Gladiators and were eliminated. We then lost to two teams that reached the grand final.

I remember it was the best patch ever for me. It's like Gabe just came to me and said, “It's your patch, do what you want with it. This patch is made for you." That's exactly how I felt when I played that TI.
