Rune Eaters Esports midlaner Philipp 'Copy' Bühler, in an interview at the Esports World Cup 2026, spoke about his emotions after yesterday's victory over Aurora Gaming, assessed the progress of the roster, and also spoke about performing at the tournament as an outsider.

Obviously, it was nice to win, but we didn’t come here expecting to fly out so early, so the emotions weren’t that intense.

Yes, we feel that we are playing better and better. We may not progress with every game, but it feels like we gain a lot of knowledge from every match. Our macro has grown a lot. I wouldn’t say that we began to play stronger individually, because even against Aurora Gaming we lost all our lines. But we got back into the game. We now understand very well how to act in the middle of the game.

At tournaments, everyone wants to show their best. We even have an additional incentive, because none of us have yet played for a tier-1 club. Even as an outsider, performing is still cool and very interesting. [ Less pressure, right? ] Yes, sure.
