What allowed us to beat our opponents at EWC? I think we were all just trying really hard to understand how top teams like PARI or Yandex played, so we studied their replays a lot and learned from it, while maintaining our own gameplay. For me, I felt pretty relaxed playing on stage, and while I can't speak 100% for the others, I felt they also handled the pressure very well and we were able to put our best foot forward in most of the games.

Buhler also appreciated the contribution of coach Andrei Mag Chipenko and told what the team has to work on.

Mag does a lot for the draft, so that helps us a lot. He has a good understanding of what our opponents want to play and that makes it easier for us to gain an advantage in the draft. Overall, we need to work on everything, but after the loss to PARI it felt like our early game wasn't at the same level as theirs, so maybe that's something we need to focus on.

Rune Eaters took 5th-8th place at EWC 2026. During the tournament, the Copy team eliminated Virtus.pro and Aurora Gaming. At the same time, the second was considered one of the favorites of the competition.
