CrystalMay Calls for 1w Team Roster Changes After Early Playoff Loss

Dota 2 commentator Dmitry “CrystalMay” Korchevinin has questioned whether 1w Team should continue with its current lineup. He shared his view on Telegram, arguing that a change could be in the team’s own best interests after a series of disappointing results at major events.

1w Team added Ivan “Pure~” Moskalenko and Neta “33” Shapira to its roster in June 2026. Since that move, the squad has not achieved strong results at major tournaments, leaving questions over whether the current combination can deliver at the highest level.

At BLAST Slam VIII, held from September 29 to October 11, 1w Team reached the playoffs but lost its opening match in the stage. The result leaves the team one defeat away from elimination, adding further weight to the debate around its future lineup.

ColdMath take

The result puts immediate pressure on 1w Team ahead of its next playoff match. A further loss would end its BLAST Slam VIII run and could accelerate decisions about the roster.
