The Esports Foundation has announced that the first-ever Esports Nations Cup event, which was scheduled to take place in November 2026 in Riyadh, has been postponed by a year. The information appeared on the official website of the project.

At the Esports Nations Cup 2026 for Dota 2, it was planned to win $1,500,000. Through direct invitations and regional qualifications, 31 teams out of 32 were determined. The last slot was reserved for the Solidarity Wildcard. Representatives of the Russian Federation and Belarus were not allowed to participate in team disciplines.
