Mira: Skiter Has Taken a Leading Role in Aurora’s Games
Aurora’s Mira says Skiter has reduced his shot-calling load and brought more freedom and enjoyment to the team.

Aurora Gaming’s Dota 2 player Miroslav Mira Kolpakov has described his first impressions of playing alongside Oliver Skiter Lepko. Speaking during BLAST Slam VIII, Mira said the new carry has assumed much of the responsibility for directing the team from the middle stages of a match onward.
According to Mira, Skiter’s leadership in the midgame and late game has significantly reduced the need for him to call every situation. Mira now gives Skiter room to lead, while the rest of Aurora follows his decisions. He also said this arrangement suits him, allowing him to speak when his input is most useful.
Mira added that the team environment has become more relaxed and entertaining. Aurora have experimented with unfamiliar heroes, including Techies for Kaori after only a few public matches, and have spent more time laughing together. Skiter joined Aurora in September, replacing Yegor Nightfall Grigorenko. The team finished fifth-sixth at PGL Wallachia Season 9 and had reached the upper-bracket semifinals at BLAST Slam VIII when the story was published.
ColdMath take
Skiter’s arrival has redistributed leadership inside Aurora and eased Mira’s communication burden. The team’s next matches will show whether the more flexible structure can carry over from practice and group atmosphere into playoff results.
