Nix questions LGD’s decision to keep Davai on the roster
The streamer criticized Davai’s play after LGD Gaming opened the BLAST Slam VIII playoffs with a 1–2 loss to Team Yandex.

Streamer Alexander “Nix” Levin has questioned why Cedric “Davai” Dekmin remains with LGD Gaming. During a Twitch broadcast, Levin described the offlaner’s continued place on a strong roster as surprising, pointing to what he viewed as repeated mistakes and unusual decisions during matches.
Levin said Davai can sometimes fail to use an ability, make an inexplicable play or activate Stampede while standing at the fountain. In his view, the frequency of such moments made LGD’s decision especially difficult to understand, and he wondered whether the current Dota 2 scene lacks enough reliable offlaners.
On October 8, Davai and LGD Gaming began their BLAST Slam VIII playoff campaign. The team lost 1–2 to Team Yandex in the opening round and dropped to the lower bracket, leaving its next matches with less room for error.
ColdMath take
LGD Gaming must now continue its BLAST Slam VIII run through the lower bracket after the 1–2 defeat. Davai’s performance will remain under scrutiny in the upcoming matches.
The result leaves the team with less margin for error, while the criticism adds attention to the offlaner’s decision-making and consistency.
Pick an outcome. Trade it beside the story.
