Saksa’s Rubick Masterclass Levels BLAST Slam VIII Series
Martin “Saksa” Sazdov delivered a decisive Rubick performance as Team Yandex fought back against PARIVISION in the BLAST Slam VIII playoffs.

Team Yandex support Martin “Saksa” Sazdov produced a standout Rubick performance in the second map of the BLAST Slam VIII playoff series against PARIVISION. His stolen abilities repeatedly turned dangerous moments in his team’s favor, keeping teammates alive and creating openings during the late stages of the game.
At the 45-minute Roshan fight, Saksa rescued his allies from focused attacks three times. The exchange shifted the economy sharply: Team Yandex moved from a 4,000-gold deficit to an 8,000-gold lead. Later, beneath PARIVISION’s base at the 50-minute mark, his stolen Cold Embrace saved the midlaner twice before protecting the offlaner as well.
Saksa then used a stolen Winter’s Curse to catch Terrorblade and force an emergency Sunder. During the high-ground push, a stolen Sunder extended his carry’s life, while another Winter’s Curse trapped three PARIVISION players near the fountain. PARIVISION surrendered soon afterward, and the performance drew widespread praise. The victory tied the series, with the teams moving into the third map.
ColdMath take
The result keeps Team Yandex alive in the playoff series and gives the team momentum heading into the deciding third map. Saksa’s late-game utility was central to the turnaround.
For PARIVISION, the loss came after a series of defensive failures around the base and fountain, where Team Yandex converted stolen spells into the winning push.
