Solo Questions Whether ATF Has Strengthened Team Yandex

Alexey “Solo” Berezin does not believe Ammar “ATF” Assaf has clearly improved Team Yandex’s Dota 2 roster. In his view, the team’s performances with the new offlaner have remained broadly comparable to the level they showed when Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin was part of the lineup.

Solo also questioned the idea that ATF is definitively stronger than DM. He noted that Team Yandex did not appear weaker in its previous version when facing PARIVISION, and may even have looked more convincing in that matchup.

The streamer therefore considers it too early to draw a firm conclusion about the roster change. For now, he sees no obvious difference in Team Yandex’s overall performance that would confirm a clear upgrade in the lineup.

ColdMath take

Solo’s assessment leaves the ATF transfer without a clear verdict. Team Yandex will need more competitive evidence before the change can be judged as a definite upgrade.

The key comparison remains the team’s performance against PARIVISION: Solo believes the previous lineup was at least comparable, and possibly better.
