Yuma on GamerLegion: “The main thing is that we play, be happy with ourselves and have no regrets”

Kerry GamerLegion Yuma 'Yuma' Langlet spoke in an interview at BLAST SLAM VIII about his joining the roster, and also spoke about his expectations from the team.

After TI I talked to the guys from the team and that’s how I got there. I feel great in the squad. I have already performed with some of the players in the past. These are players who are simply a pleasure to work with.

I think we're definitely still finding our style. I come with my ideas, also take their ideas into account and try, so to speak, to find a middle ground. They have pretty good ideas and concepts. But it also seemed to me that some of them, in my opinion, required some additions, so I expressed my opinion. And then we just... yeah, just learning as we go.

I don't really like it when things are expected of us. The main thing is that we play, be happy with ourselves and have no regrets. I think this is especially important for me personally as a person: I just don’t want to regret anything. And if after the tournament or game the result is exactly like this, I will be happy about it. I can move on if that makes sense.

I thought it would be good that now that I became part of the team, we would become more stable, at least in terms of reaching the playoffs in tournaments. I would say that this is already a big step. And yes, this would probably be one of our expectations from the lineup.

GamerLegion placed 7th-8th at BLAST SLAM VIII. The team advanced from the group stage by eliminating Team Liquid, but lost to GamerLegion in the last chance qualifier.
