The match began on Dust2, where a back-and-forth first half was followed up by FURIA 's T-side dominance. Aurora were only able to win two rounds on their defense as Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato led the way with a 2.22 T-side rating, allowing FURIA to take their opponents map pick with a 13-8 scoreline.
Aurora answered on Mirage, however, finding themselves 12-5 up after a dominant performance before losing a 2vs5 post-plant. That shook their confidence and meant they had some issues closing it out. Ali "Wicadia" Haydar Yalçın 's 1vs2 got them over the line, though, as Yuri "yuurih" Santos disconnected due to switching teams by mistake .
The Turkish rifler kept up a fantastic performance on Nuke, winning a superb 1vs4 and finishing the map with 23 kills, 109.5 ADR, and a 1.51 rating.
