"Everything is good," he said. "It's calm. It's calm now. Just working, getting better slowly. I hope we become a better team."
GamerLegion got their EWC campaign off to a great start with a 13-3 thrashing of Luminosity , picking up their first victory since Timur "FL4MUS" Marev 's return to the team after a Round-of-32-exit in BLAST Bounty.
The 21-year-old, who previously played for GamerLegion in 2024, is looking to write a new page after a disappointing chapter with Virtus.pro . He played under VP for only 11 months before being benched and then loaned out to OG and BetBoom .
"I'm feeling more, like, relieved," he told after the match. "It was probably my first [time] feeling that finally I'm back on a team and I'm able to play CS. It's not like I know that I'm not going to be on this team in a few months. Over here, I just know… Maybe if I play like a bot, I will be benched [laughs], but I hope I'm not going to be playing like a bot.

Asked about his tournament goals, FL4MUS said he hopes the team can reach the playoffs and get past the Round of 16. And if they keep grinding, he expects the team to make a significant jump in the ranking.
"If we're going to work as hard as we've been working, maybe top 10, top 12, is possible," he said. "Something like this."
A 13-3 victory here in your first match at EWC. Pretty easy, I would say.
Yep. I don't know. I was not looking at the score too much. I was focusing more on the game. The game went well. It's good.
I wanted to ask about your move back to GamerLegion. It happened quite late in the off-season. It was around mid-July, at least when it was announced. Talk to me about how this offer came together. And did you fear that maybe you'd spend some more time on the bench and miss the start of the season?
I expected to find a team, because there were other offers besides GamerLegion's. It wasn't like I got three offers at the same time. It was one by one. For example, with one it didn't work out, and the second one didn't work out, and then GamerLegion came, and with them it worked out. Adrian , the coach, just contacted me. We went on TeamSpeak. We talked. He just asked if I wanted. I said, 'Of course, I want.'
The last 18 months were rough for you, I imagine. You didn't play your best CS in VP, then you got benched, then you joined some teams on loan. There was a lot of uncertainty. How does it feel to finally get some stability, especially in an organization that you knew from before?
I'm feeling more, like, relieved. It was probably my first [time] feeling that finally I'm back on a team and I'm able to play CS. It's not like I know that I'm not going to be on this team in a few months. Over here, I just know… Maybe if I play like a bot, I will be benched [laughs], but I hope I'm not going to be playing like a bot. Everything is good. It's calm. It's calm now. Just working, getting better slowly. I hope we become a better team.
Even though you had played for GamerLegion before, this is pretty much a new setup. Three different players [from the last roster], a different coach, right? Only Tauson remains from your previous team. What are your first impressions of everyone?
I had played with Janusz [Snax] in GamerLegion before he joined G2, so with Janusz I'm kind of familiar. REZ is a legend of CS as well, and Milan [hypex] is a good and hard-working guy. He has very good mechanics, and he's listening. The team is just good. If we stick to good discipline, if we work hard, if we trust each other more, I think this team can achieve a top level.
This is only your second tournament with the team, the first one on LAN, after Bounty. With that in mind, what kind of goals has the team set for EWC, which is one of the biggest tournaments?
There weren't any goals. We just play. We just practiced, practiced, practiced before BLAST. Then we had a bootcamp before this tournament. We were tired on the last day of the bootcamp, I remember. Then we had two days off because of traveling. Right now, maybe individual guys have individual goals for themselves, but I don't think that there is, like… Our mission is to not play bad. But for me, I would like to get into playoffs and not lose in the first round of the playoffs. But we will see.
It's still early days for the team, but where do you see the team in the rest of the season? How far do you think you can go?
No idea. If we're going to work as hard as we've been working, maybe top 10, top 12, is possible. Something like this.
