FURIA have continued their Esports World Cup campaign into the playoffs, pushing their way past 9z with comfortable wins on Dust2 and Nuke coming either side of a hard-fought loss on Mirage.

FURIA have continued their Esports World Cup campaign into the playoffs, pushing their way past 9z with comfortable wins on Dust2 and Nuke coming either side of a hard-fought loss on Mirage.
Dust2 was smooth sailing for FURIA , the Brazilian side starting and finishing their CT half strong for a 7-5 lead before utterly outclassing 9z with their offense, tying up a straightforward 13-6 opener.
meyern 4K keeps 9z within touching distance on Mirage
9z enjoyed better fortunes on Mirage, largely down to the stellar efforts of Matias "HUASOPEEK" Ibañez Hernandez . The Chilean, with the help of Ignacio "meyern" Meyer , kept 9z close amidst a strong offensive half from FURIA , before completely taking over when the sides switched to guide his team to map point.
FURIA showed resilience, however, to claw their way back into the game, Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato the driving force of their comeback, but 9z resumed their dominance in OT to send the series to a decider.
KSCERATO caps off 4K with 1v2 clutch to rescue FURIA
The series ended with a bit of a whimper on Nuke, FURIA dominating from start to finish to seal the match in comfortable fashion. KSCERATO was once again in stellar form, although his teammates stepped up and contributed in several close clutch scenarios to ensure FURIA pushed forth into the Esports World Cup playoffs.
