Dukalis: “I think Team Resilience is a really good team. I'm looking forward to seeing her in the playoffs."

PARIVISION support Andrey 'Dukalis' Kuropatkin, in an interview at The International 2026, spoke about the match against Team Spirit, explained why Alan 'Satanic' Gallyamov plays so well, and also talked about the difficulties the team faced during the group stage.

The feeling is great, but I think we need to improve some aspects because we started playing better from the start of the tournament. We had jetlag and the flight was really rough. Now we are getting better day by day.

The first game was easy because we took Nature's Prophet, which created a map threat for them. At about the fifth minute, he, as usual, demolished the Drow Ranger tower, so they had slightly less territory, and we had unkillable heroes everywhere. I played Winter Wyvern and they had Slardar, so the physical damage boost wasn't that big of a deal. 9Class removed all their wards. Yes, we just did everything well. We could apply more pressure, but only by 5-10%.

[ In the second map they were able to fight back. How did they do it? ] I guess we just didn't implement Smoke of Deceit . And it seems like we just weren't very good at pushing the buttons. As No[o]ne said after the game, he accidentally pressed the Black King Bar. If not for this, we would have killed everyone. And I died quite often. Two or three times on important lenses where my team could have done minus five if I had been alive. For example, we lost the fight at the first Roshan because I died. I think we were just a little out of shape to run over them, but we still won.

If you're not prepared, this team will always try to steal your Aegis of the Immortal. They will try to use Force Staff, Sleight of Fist, or hide in a broken place. This is just crazy. They're good at it. But this is one of the keys to their team. If they don't steal Aegis of the Immortal, then they aren't that good on the map.

[ This guy's acting is incredible. He seems to win every line. How does he manage to achieve such results in every match? ] Half of his success is that he is very young and talented. And the other half is Puppey, because he taught him a lot: how to play Dota, how to do it aggressively. They communicate a lot. I think that's why he improved his game.

Another thing is the atmosphere we try to create. Sometimes things don't work out for us, bad days happen. I think every team has bad days. But basically, when we come to an official match, we are all in a good mood and try to cheer each other up.

I think the very first match was really difficult because of the jetlag. I think Team Resilience is a really good team. I'm looking forward to her in the playoffs. Team Falcons also played well. I screwed up a bit against Team Falcons because I was feeding on the Elder Titan lane. And we won the first game too. I think it was difficult to start against Team Resilience. I believe this is a really good team.
