Mirage` about the possibility of becoming a TI champion: “Well, I generally believe in it, no matter what they say”

L1GA TEAM midlaner Miras 'Mirage' Mutanov, in an interview at The International 2026, named the best midlaners in the current meta, discussed the possibility of winning TI, and also talked about the team's playing style.

In general, the open qualifiers were not really difficult for us, because we sat at the bootcamp and prepared for them. We previously went to Riyadh. I was sure that we would pass the open qualifiers. But the closed qualifications were already harder. There it was necessary to really get into it.

There are actually quite a lot of different heroes in the meta right now. There is also the same non-standard Wisp in mid that appears. And among the classics, Invoker is very strong, the same Puck, Ember Spirit, Storm Spirit - everything is as usual. And among the non-standard ones, Wisp in the mid is more often seen.

Well, I actually believe in it, no matter what they say. I have faith in myself. That would just be... well, super good for me.

I have wonderful guys on my team, some of whom also made it to TI for the first time. This is a new experience for us, this is already a level higher for us than it was before.

Regarding the players and playstyle: we prefer reliability. We prefer the faith game. We strive for faithful action.

L1GA TEAM took 16th place at the end of The International 2026. "Hooligans" finished the group stage without a single victory and left the competition in last place.
